The Donahues’ Puppy is Born!

Maize must have started a craze.  Another Culotta family member is going Lab, and who could blame them, given this adorable brood of healthy labrador pups!  One of them will soon make its way home to the Donahues’ at the end of October or early November.

The pups come from a kennel in Felton, DE, and are born of two hearty parents, Floyd and Xenia.  (I wonder if the Donahues will be as inventive in the naming of their new ‘warrior princess’; it’s a girl by the way.)

Regardless, we’ll eagerly await the arrival of their new best friend.  We’ll keep you posted on the pup’s progress as it proceeds.

  • Some names that are being considered are:
    - Quigley
    - Callie
    - Keely
    - and many others that Mary Kate likes but several family members (ok mainly me) don’t want to yell when chasing this dog up and down the street.

  • Quigley? Ugh… Not to call the Kettle black (but Maize did come with her name when we rescued her), but can’t we get away from the “ey, ie, ly” names? What about something superior like “Rhapsody in Blue”. (please someone get my reference so I don’t look like a freak…Christopher Guest?)

  • Callie!!!! Callie!!!!

    Uncle Paul likes it!
